ABOUT US - The team at black coral capital
Black Coral Capital is a fund investing in the alternative energy / cleantech space. The fund can invest in a wide variety of cleantech arenas, both directly and through funds. Black Coral was formed in late 2008 and is presently building out its presence in North America.
CHRISTIAN ZABBAL, Managing Director
Christian Zabbal is the Managing Director of Black Coral Capital. Christian helped set up the fund in late 2008; prior to that, he was a partner at ghSmart, a management consulting firm specialized in talent assessment and development for the private equity industry.
Rob Day, Partner
Rob Day is a Partner with Black Coral Capital, based in Boston. He has been a cleantech private equity investor since 2004, and acts or has served as a Director, Observer and advisory board member to multiple companies in the energy tech and related sectors.
Nikhil Garg, Vice President
Nikhil Garg is a Vice President with Black Coral Capital, based in Boston. At Black Coral he originates and evaluates a range of cleantech investment opportunities including project financing, technology venture capital and growth equity for service businesses.
